# OneSignal

> Export email templates directly to OneSignal, ready to use in your OneSignal email campaigns and automations. Design in Brew, export in one click.

Connect your OneSignal account to export email templates created in Brew directly into OneSignal. No manual copy-pasting, just design in Brew and export to OneSignal in one click.

## Setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the OneSignal integration in Brew">
    In Brew, go to **Integrations** and click the **OneSignal** card.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Go to Keys & IDs in OneSignal">
    In OneSignal, go to your app's dashboard, click **Settings**, then **Keys & IDs**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy your App ID">
    Copy the **App ID** shown at the top of the page. Go back to Brew and paste it into the App ID field.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy or create your API Key">
    Create an **App API Key** if you don't have one yet, then copy it.

    <Warning>
      OneSignal only shows the API key once when it's created. Save it in a secure location.
    </Warning>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste the API Key in Brew">
    Go back to Brew, paste the API key into the second field, and click **Connect**.
  </Step>

That's it. OneSignal is now connected to Brew.

## Exporting a Template

Once connected, you can export any email to OneSignal:

1. Open an email you've created in Brew
2. Click **Send**
3. Choose to **export the template to OneSignal**
4. Give it a name and click **Export**

The template appears in OneSignal under **Messages → Templates**, ready to use in your campaigns.

## What to Expect after Exporting

Exported templates are available under **Messages → Templates** within your OneSignal app. To view the template, click on it and select **Edit**. Templates are editable via HTML only and are not accessible through a drag-and-drop block editor. Any design changes should be made in Brew and re-exported.

To send a test email, scroll down to the **2. Message** section within the Edit view and click **Test & preview**.

## Requirements

* A OneSignal account with an app created
* Your App ID (found under Settings → Keys & IDs)
* An App API Key
