Notifications
Set up notifications for new contacts and important events
Overview
Stay informed when new contacts join your audience through sign-up forms, API integrations, or other automated methods. Brew offers two notification options to keep your team updated on audience growth:
- Email Notifications: Individual notifications sent to your email address
- Slack Notifications: Team-wide notifications sent to a Slack channel
Notifications trigger for contacts added via forms, API, or integrations—not for manual CSV uploads.
Email Notifications
Email notifications are sent directly to your inbox when new contacts join your audience.
Access settings
Go to Settings → Notifications
Toggle notifications
Switch Email notifications on or off based on your preference
Email notification settings are personal to each team member and don’t affect others on your team.
Slack Notifications
Connect Brew to your Slack workspace to receive real-time notifications about new contacts.
Connect your workspace
- Go to Settings → Notifications
- Click Connect to Slack
- Authorize Brew in the Slack authorization window
Choose a channel
Select which Slack channel should receive notifications
For private channels, first invite the Brew app to that channel
Test your setup
Send a test notification to verify everything works correctly
Slack notifications are a team-wide setting and will be sent to the selected channel for all team members.
What’s included in Slack notifications
Each Slack notification contains:
- Contact’s name and email
- Source of signup
