Every AI-generated email in Brew automatically matches your brand - no manual adjustments needed. To make this work, Brew needs to learn your brand identity first. This takes about 30 seconds.

What Gets Extracted

When you add your brand, Brew analyzes your website and pulls out:
  • Logo - light and dark versions
  • Colors - primary, secondary, background, and text
  • Fonts - heading and body typefaces
  • Tone of voice - how your brand communicates
  • Design style - visual patterns and design preferences from your site
These values are used every time Brew generates an email, keeping everything on-brand without any extra effort from you. To complete your brand setup, add a reference email. This gives Brew a design baseline for layout, spacing, and structure, and has a big impact on the look and feel of your generated emails. You can update your reference email anytime from the Brand tab or from the Templates page.

How to Add Your Brand

1

Enter your website URL

During onboarding (or anytime from the Brand page), enter your website URL. Brew screenshots and analyzes your site to build your brand kit.
2

Review your brand kit

In about 30 seconds, Brew presents your extracted brand identity - logo, colors, fonts, tone of voice, and design style. Review each value to make sure it looks right.
3

Edit anything that needs adjusting

You can manually adjust any value on the Brand page. Change colors, swap fonts, upload a different logo, or tweak the tone of voice.
Clicking Update in the top right corner of the Brand page will re-extract your brand from your website. This overwrites all your current brand settings, including any manual edits you’ve made. Make sure you’re ready before updating.

Custom Instructions & Reference Files

Under AI Settings on the Brand tab, you can give Brew specific instructions and reference files that it follows every time you generate an email.
  • Custom instructions - Tell the AI what to do (or avoid) in every email. This is especially useful for merge tags, dynamic fields, and anything you want to ensure happens with every generation. For example: “Always create a variation of the attached hero image for the hero section. You can add text and other visuals, but the style should align with this image.”
  • Reference files - Upload images or files that Brew should reference during generation. These could be hero image examples, brand guidelines, or any visual reference you want the AI to follow.
In the Brand Images section, you’ll see the images Brew extracted from your website. You can add any of these to your reference files with one click, so the AI uses them as a visual baseline when generating emails.
Always click Save after making changes to your AI settings. This saves your updates and ensures the AI follows your new instructions on the next generation.
Under Footer & Compliance on the Brand tab, you configure the footer that appears on every email you send. To comply with email marketing regulations like CAN-SPAM, every marketing email must include a physical address and an unsubscribe link.
  • Unsubscribe link - Brew automatically includes this in every email. No action needed from you.
  • Physical address - Enter your business address. This is required by law and will appear in the footer of all your emails.
  • Additional footer text (optional) - Add any additional text you want in the footer, such as a tagline or legal disclaimer.
  • Social icons (optional) - Add links to your social profiles and Brew will display the icons in your email footer.
