Adding Your Brand Voice
Access the Voices page
Go to the Voices page in your Brew app.
Your first brand voice is automatically created during sign-up based on your business website. Review it and add content from your blog, marketing materials, or brand guidelines to ensure it perfectly matches your style.
Click 'Add Voice'
Find and click the “Add Voice” button in the top right corner of the screen.
A modal will appear with four different methods to add your brand voice.
Choose how to add your voice
Select from one of these four methods:
Best for: Websites with strong brand voice examples
- Provide a URL that demonstrates your brand voice
- Enter URLs to blog posts, about pages, or other content that exemplifies your tone
- Brew will analyze the content to understand your unique style
Choose pages that have conversational content rather than technical documentation for better voice extraction.

Best for: Brand guidelines or specific voice examples
- Upload files directly from your computer
- Supported formats include .txt, .pdf, .doc/.docx
- Ideal for brand voice guidelines, sample emails, or marketing copy
If uploading brand guidelines, try to include sections specifically about tone, voice, and messaging style.
Best for: Collaborative voice documents
- Connect your Google Drive account if not already connected
- Select files that reflect your brand voice
- Brew will extract the voice patterns while maintaining document security
This is especially useful for teams that maintain brand guidelines in Google Drive.
Best for: Quick voice definition or specific tone examples
- Type or paste a short excerpt that captures your brand voice
- Aim for at least 200-300 words to give Brew enough context
- Include examples of how you talk about your product, address customers, and convey value
Include varying sentence structures and tones that represent how you want your emails to sound.
Review and confirm
After adding your voice, Brew will process and analyze the content.
Your added voice will appear in the Voices table, where you can see a summary of your voice’s style and characteristics.
