Getting Started with Creation

Select your email type

From the Create page, use the dropdown in the top left corner to select the type of email you want to create:

  • Campaign: One-time emails for newsletters, announcements, etc.
  • Automation: Triggered sequences like welcome series or onboarding flows
  • Transactional: Individual emails responding to specific user actions

Describe what you need

In the prompt field, describe the email or automation you want to create.

“Create a newsletter announcing our new mobile app with key features, download instructions, and user benefits”

“Draft a webinar invitation for our upcoming SEO workshop with date/time details, speaker bios, and clear registration CTA”

“Write a product launch email for our new analytics dashboard with screenshots, three key benefits, and a limited-time offer”

“Design a monthly company update with team highlights, product news, and upcoming events”

“Create a special promotion email for our Black Friday sale with countdown timer and featured products”

Select your audience

Choose which audience should receive your email or automation. This helps Brew tailor the content to your selected segment.

Choose voice

Your default voice will be pre-selected, but you can change it for each creation.

Voices ensure that emails are consistent & on-brand.

Select image style

Choose the image style that sets the visual aesthetic for any AI-generated images.

Toggle on Align image colors with design system to ensure images match your brand colors (recommended).

Generate your content

Click the Submit button to generate your email or automation.

What happens next depends on your selection:

  • For Campaigns: You’ll be taken to the email editor to review and refine
  • For Automations: You’ll see the automation builder with your email sequence
  • For Transactional: You’ll set up event triggers and email content
