Brew extracts your brand from your website in about 30 seconds. Every email is on-brand from the start. When you sign in to Brew for the first time, a brand-setup dialog opens. You can’t create emails until at least one brand is extracted. Brew needs to know your brand before it can write anything on-brand.

How Extraction Works

1

Enter your domain

Type your website URL (for example, acme.com). A live logo preview appears as you type. Submit when it looks right.
2

Add anything you already have (optional)

If you have a brand guide, PDF, existing design.md, logo files, or past emails you’re proud of, drop them in. Brew reads these alongside your site, and on any conflict, your uploaded material wins. The domain only fills in whatever gaps your files leave.
3

Wait about 30 seconds

Brew screenshots your site and runs it through five extraction phases:
  1. Analyzing. Reading your site and any files you uploaded
  2. Researching. Studying your voice, positioning, and signature visual moves
  3. Writing. Drafting your email-design.md: colors, type, layout, and the details that make an email recognizably yours
  4. Assets. Saving logos and key images
  5. Complete. Your brand is ready
The progress dialog updates as each phase finishes.
4

Open the Brand tab

Once extraction completes, head to the Brand tab in the sidebar to review what Brew wrote and adjust anything that doesn’t look right. The Email Design sub-page renders your email-design.md directly, editable like any doc. See Brand identity for everything else you can configure there.

Default API Key

Finishing extraction also issues a default API key scoped to this brand, shown once at the end of onboarding. Copy and save it. Authentication owns the key lifecycle, and API configuration is where you manage keys afterward.

Next Steps

Extraction takes about 30 seconds because Brew is researching and writing a document, not filling in boxes. That document is email-design.md, and editing your brand later is just editing its text. See Design baseline for what it contains and how it shapes every generation. Need more than one brand? See Multiple brands.
